IMHO there is no longer any difference between regular size, large or extra large anymore the innards all look the same, other than the price.
I can remember going to the farmer down the road and getting a dozen of the Jumbo size eggs and you couldn't close the cover on the carton. They had to put a tape over it to keep the eggs from falling out.
I can remember years ago when I was a kid back in the late 40s JUMBO eggs meant you would get several double yolks in a carton. Wonder how many of those you have seen in the jumbo cartons lately.
BTW: This does 'not' mean 100% organic. It is the biggest hoax of all time from the USDA. :W
