Hooray- another tip to add to our cooking disaster arsenal!
I took Jack Diane Freedom advice and added sweet yellow Singapore curry and a can of coconut milk. It worked great. Thai Chicken Soup.
Thanks for all the suggestions.....especially J-D-F.
Here's a poser:
If it's a big success this time, do you think you'll have to burn/discard the onions NEXT time in order to make it taste "just right"? :B - NoelExplorer III took Jack Diane Freedom advice and added sweet yellow Singapore curry and a can of coconut milk. It worked great. Thai Chicken Soup.
Thanks for all the suggestions.....especially J-D-F. - Super_DaveExplorer IIStrain broth and add new stock/broth.
- Francesca_KnowlExplorerI've used sliced raw potatoes to remove extra SALT from soup, but have never tried it with scorch taste. Could be worth a try....slice one or more up, bring to a boil, remove potatoes.
- Jack_Diane_FreeExplorerPut some curry in. Covers everything. Spices it up too.
- dave17352Explorer IIYou can't fix burned! Its a shame but just throw it out JMHO
- NoelExplorer IIWell, thanks for the replies...so far.
I forgot to mention I did put the soup thru a fine strainer, so the onions are gone. - RollnhomeExplorerDump it and get some Chinese takeout
