Just one word for you regarding the best, hand held, hand operated can opener on the planet!OXO!!
A canning machine at a factory seals a can of Tomatoes after processing, by rolling the can and crimping the edges of the can to the lid. The OXO opens the can by reversing the process and "unrolls the lip" as you crank the (Non-Electric) handheld OXO...no sharp edges, no cutting blade to go dull, and you can even set the lid back on the can to keep the contents cvered!
All for around $22.00. I have never worn one out even after years of service!
