Agree, I like charcoal when camping. Normally, I believe you get what you pay for, etc., but I love the real cheapie we got at Walmart for about 20 bucks on sale. (Sold various places, prices vary.)

X grill clicky

It folds flat, slim, opens to an X shape. Big enough for about six burgers. We keep a roll of heavy duty foil in the RV, and line the grill with that first. Add charcoal, place the little cooking rack (oil it first).

Easiest cleanup of any grill I ever owned. Little metal rack easy to wipe off and wash. Just remove the foil the next morning and toss. Five seconds to fold and stow. We use the box it came in, but I think some come with a bag.

Lightweight, not a hassle to haul it out and set up. Fits anywhere which is important to me in a small RV. We've been using for a year and it's going strong.

Another vote for the Weber 120. Great grill and I add some wood chips to it from time to time if we want a smoke flavor.

I have the sportsmen cast iron gill. Caution: It is a very heavy Hibachi type charcoal grill. No lid. It get's really hot and takes hours to cool down enough to pack up. I use it for steaks/sausage at home. Check out this one
You can find it at better prices if you look around. Read up on it. It's a grill/smoker/oven. It is portable as the whole unit lifts off the base. It will last forever.

Wow, I am going to look at that grill tomorrow. I just wonder how heavy it is.

It weighs about 30 lbs which prolly makes it great on a patio but not all that portable. I think the Lodge will do some really really nice grilling but since I also like to employ a lid for indirect cooking I pass the Lodge by with regrets.

I'm currently using a charcoal Weber Go Anywhere and it meets most of my needs: cooks for up to 4 people(although best for 3),excellent heat retention and good vent system; folds up with ease, simple to empty. I do wish the base was a little deeper or the grate adjustable for roasting and smoking but have learned to gerrymander my way around the shortcomings. The price is right too at under 40-50 bucks.

I'll second the Weber Jumbo Joe. Good for direct grilling, lid to stop flare ups when cooking chicken and large enough for indirect cooking larger cuts like tri-tips or chucks.

x4 or whatever # is next!

One more vote for the Weber Q100. We like ours so much we bought a second one for the MH.
