I don't really care for machine formed patties, something about the texture or density bothers me. I don't eat a lot of beef but I prefer a fresh hand formed patty.
I looked up the NI of both of the above and was surprised to see how high the fat is, I think it was 22 gms. Well, high for me anyway.
I'm working hard on the Buy American, Buy Local thing. It's not always easy but I was able to find local butcher shops that sell local meat and even farms that process and sell their own, some organic/grass fed etc.
I'm the first one to lament to loss of family farms here in CT so I figured I should put my money where my mouth is and buy healthier and buy local.
