We've been eating the lite Bubba Burgers when camping and really like them, especially with the Weber Gourmet burger seasoning or McCormick's Montreal Steak seasoning. We couldn't find them before our last camping trip so we bought the Walmart Great Value frozen patties 80/20. They're about a dollar or two less than the Bubba's and you get 12 instead of 8. Just thought I'd pass it on for anyone else who might wanna try them out. I was pleasantly surprised as was my wife and she can't stand the W.
Good for the DW! Walmart buys all their beef from other countries. And all the 'fresh' beef is injected with solutions including MSG. And they still put gases into those packages to make it look red like its fresh even when it's weeks old. Which by the time it gets there from another country it would be! Only 1% of meat coming into this country is inspected. I think I'll stick with stores that sell USA beef thank you!:B
WalMart gets the bulk of their packaged meat from Tyson's. I don't have a clue where it all comes from, but not all of it is from foreign countries. The US, Canada and some South American countries are the only ones who have an excess to sell.
This trend isn't Walmarts, it's simply the new way meat is supplied to grocers. When you see a label that has a brand on it, guess what, your butcher didn't cut and package it.
