Thanks for your reply. This test is only intended to find out how the NuWave compares to a slow cooker before making any conclusions about if it is a reasonable alternative to a slow cooker. If it is thought that if it is, then some things can be said about the best way to use the NuWave as a slow cooker.
Some things are already becoming evident. I'll comment on them when the test is over.
You have already come to the conclusion that the NuWave is not suited to be a slow cooker because of the noise of the fan. Others may agree. One good thing about published tests is that they generally bring responses from people who have an opinion. That's a good thing!
