NuWave Pic/ related cookware

Recently found some really nice non-stick fry pans at TJ Maxx, to use on my NuWave cooktop. The pans I got work beautifully. I love 'em. However, I do have a question -- the non-stick fry pans I got, are ceramic coated. They are white on the inside of the pan.

Does anyone know if putting spaghetti sauce in these pans will stain the white ceramic lining?

One thing I did notice - I used a latex spatula as directed to eliminate scratching. I lightly tapped the metal handle on the edge of the pan, and it did make scratch marks, just from that. Won't be doing that again.

Anyways, anyone have experience with the ceramic lined fry pans?
Thanks

Aluminum foil will work also. It's neutral to the induction.

  • I have to add the the induction cooker pairs great with cast iron.

Yeah, I have the silicon utensils -- my only problem was that the handle is metal, and I scratched my pan when I tapped it on the edge to knock food off. Have to break that habit.

go watch a video on this little cooker, and it looks like a great addition to any kitchen or RV!

Do you only use the specialized cookware with them? Just wondering...

You have to have the cookware that a magnet will stick to or the stove top thingy will not work. The appropriate cookware will have a squiggly spring like - looking design somewhere on the pan to indicate it will work on the induction burner.
