As with all electrical appliances, the wattage draw determines performance capability. Do some research and make a choice based on your cooking capacity requirements and the budget. I have seen non-commercial IC's with wattage ranges from 800W to 1800w. There was also a recent thread on this subject on this board. The Nuwave was highly touted.
