- tstrykExplorerSeems like it would be fun just to hang out at the campground for a day or two in between park visits!
- JamesBrExplorerNot sure about the price item, yes the fort is NEVER discounted. But I think I may have spent 10-15% more staying at FW vs. off the Disney campus.
We go for 2 weeks every year, and you would think we saw it all. But even then a 7-10 day park hopper we can always find something to do or something we missed.
If you plan the day around the kids and there energy level, you could park hop and take advantage of magic hours as well. Go in the AM, come back to FW for some down time, head off to somewhere else. If you get really good at it you can also get your fastpass+ in for the hottest rides. But then we go when that really isnt a big issue since its not that crowded (dont get me wrong, there are always lots of people, just not huge waits for all lines.) - tstrykExplorer

There are also several books out with guides to seeing the parks without getting jammed up in 90 minute lines for each ride. You can use these guides to find the best days to visit each park based on crowd levels and actually plan each ride in order, if you choose to be that detailed.
Sad when you need a book to be able to enjoy an amusement park! I actually played in the 1076 piece band at the grand opening of Disney World. Each of us got to books of tickets - I probably went to Disney 15-29 times in high school and in my career as a band director, and it has not changed that much over the years. HOWEVER, I want my wife to see it decorated at Christmas and I would like to see Animal Kingdom. Epcot is great, but seeing it more than once is redundant. - Mr_BeeboExplorerThere are also several books out with guides to seeing the parks without getting jammed up in 90 minute lines for each ride. - Mickeyfan0805ExplorerGood responses so far. We have not camped at the Fort yet (will as soon as we can make time to include the needed travel time).
I would subscribe to the newsletter at Mousesavers.com. They issue the newsletter on the 15th of each month that includes a link to discounted tickets through Undercover Tourist. These are the best deals you will get on tickets.
The 'non-expiring' option that was suggested will depend heavily on your plans for visiting. The break-even point for those tickets is usually about 4 days. If you are going to go to the parks for more than 4 days, you are better to simply buy park-hoppers for the stretch you will be there. However, if you are doing water parks as well, the 10-day non-expiring tix will give you 10 entries into water parks also. Thus, you actually get 20 days worth of tickets for that cost. So, depending on your touring plan, it can be very worthwhile.
Finally, if you are going to do this, you want to get on it soon. Disney is VERY busy at that time of year, and the new Fastpass+ system requires even more advance planning for a quality trip. Get your tickets and get into the system to start setting up the things you want as soon as you are able.
Good luck! - dblrExplorerSorry the link did not work just copy and insert
- dblrExplorerI would look at this site for any Disney info you want.

Tooke a little work, but I got it to work just like you said - THANKS! - rolling_rhodaExplorerI've read their reservation system glitchy. Try searching a two week trip covering your dates, then you can back off of the dates you don't want. If not call them.
Edited to add: first week of April 2014 is peak spring break season. Not sure if the campground fills up. - tstrykExplorerI was looking at good times to go - no luck. No matter what dates I put in for campsites, it says the resort is unavailable. Any advice?
