Andy

I'm taking Andy to the vet. He has stopped eating and will only drink water, and lots of it. He's still able to get around, up and down stairs, but is clearly not comfortable. Last night he had diarrhea. At this point, I don't know what, if anything can be done. I want to spare him suffering and pain, and hope I make the right decision at the vet's office this morning. It would be really great if this was something totally unrelated to the liver and kidney issues. Thanks to all the forum members for all your support, prayers and kindness during this unfortunate occurrence with Andy.

Rita, this is one of the most difficult decisions we have to make, but you will know what to do, between the Vet and Andy letting you know. Just listen to your heart! You will be in my thoughts and please update on the status of Andy.

Listen to your vet. More importantly, listen to Andy; he will tell you if it's time.

It's a difficult decision. I've done it several times.
Please, keep us updated.
