I had the Coolaroo beds. I used them in my kennel for a while. Gave the boarding dogs something to lay on, up off of the cement in the outside runs.
They rust pretty quickly, and I had problems with dogs chewing the edges where the metal tubes go through the fabric. All of them got shredded.
I changed to the Kuranda beds in the kennel. Haven't had any dogs destroy them yet. (5 yrs and counting) Another case of getting what you pay for, as the Kuranda's are pricey.
As far as taking the Coolaroo's apart, I'd think that would be more hassle than I want.
