Thanks DR Doug...My daughter stopped by the Vet's office to see her a while ago and was pleased with what she saw....more tail wagging and wanted to leave with her..we'll go by in the AM and see what's going on. Quality of life is first and foremost in my thoughts...I tried to explain to the DW the we have living wills, but a pet doesn't have that luxury. She has about 50 acres to roam here and absolutely no traffic to be concerned with. I'm 78 and have had to put down a few dogs in my life, and it just doesn't get any easier.
