New 2015 recalls including ones containing 'listeria"

7 New recalls with only 2 months into the year.

Sadly now Listeria is being added into the mix too. Listeria can be very deadly to pets and humans.

Gotta make you nervous when the FDA states this for one recall::R
...If you have this product, use gloves and put in a double bag and throw it away as soon as possible. Do not touch the product in any way..,

Listeria is a bacterium present just about everywhere. Avoiding Chinese sourced foods really doesn't address this particular problem. Improper food handling and preparation and cleaning equipment are the major reasons.

    X2
I found from reading the FDA/USDA sites that human consumption sausage companies are the biggest offenders of having listeria problems.

And they admits they lack the funds for inspectors to monitor them. Even after they write them up for having listeria in a plant inspectors rarely go back to see if the problem has been taken care of.

I now cook to death those pre-cooked sausages before eating them!! :B

The biggest difference between salmonella poisoning and listeria is that listeria poisoning may not show up for a couple of months. So it would be hard to try and pin point which pet product you bought had caused it. Thereby not being able to compile events in a timely manner for a quick recall of tainted pet food/treats.:(

Are any/all of these items from "China"?
