Me either. I'm rather flabbergasted that so many people consider them a high-energy breed. They're not even in the same zip code with the breeds I'd classify as high energy.
They're not high energy, but, like other large dogs such as mastiffs and St Bernards, they need to be worked (not run so much per se, but they need a "job" or they get bored) and they need to absolutely understand who is the leader through consistent training and handling. Even a docile dog can be destructive when it is bored.
