Yes Summer is a rescue from Shorewood Cocker in Wisconsin. We brought her home last night, I'm amazed how fast she is fitting in.
She's a surrender rescue, she's 6-years-old. Very very sweet little girl, I can't imagine surrendering her for any reason but I know everyone's circumstances are different.
I guess one of her fount legs was broken when she was little so she has a limp when she walks. It sort of looks like a horse galloping, but it certainly hasn't effected her at all. She is running just as much as Dudley is, only maybe a little slower.
Last night the three of them kinda gave off a stance (don't know what else to call it) like I'm the Pack leader here. We stopped it immediately as we saw it and than there wasn't anymore issues.
She's very smart and quickly learned that the Humans in this house are the Pack Leaders. Very nice doggie.......lol Im Happy we brought her Home.
