Most important, thanks for going the adopt/rescue path. Too many of these babies are in dire need and IMHO shelters and rescue orgs need to be the first place to look. She's adorable and I, too, like Maggie. My Maggie was an Irish Setter who'd had a miserable life before the shelter. I have no idea why my car just turned into the parking lot since we already had 3 - another Irish and a Gordon Setter + a terrier mix I found wandering.
I think it's helpful if the name is short, easy to understand and later when you've figured out her quirks, you can make it into some fun names....Cubbie, Cubs, Cubbikins, Cubbiedoodle.
