Poor Buddy has more issues

Since Buddy Blue had his dental work done last month, we've had him back to the vet 3 times.

He has been oozing thick yellow slime from his right jowl. It's very painful to the touch (which is why we brought him to the vet before the dental work)...the pain, no slime at that time.

He was put on clindamycin and tramadol and found to have an ear infection in his left ear. The vet thought he might have a slight redness on a right tooth extraction site. I also found a ping pong ball size node, which she aspirated. It turned out to be lymph, so they said.

Now, the node is egg sized and seems to be bi-lobed. This morning I went to wipe his usual accumulation of slime and it had blood in it. It doubled in size and changed shape in 2 weeks.

Today I brought him in and they sedated him to do x-rays and a better exam and aspirations of the node. The samples are being sent to cytology.

They still couldn't find a source and the antibiotics don't seem to be working. This poor dog has had issues his entire life.

I'm at my wits end. I want a definitive answer. Thank you for listening. Say a prayer for our darling.
