Quincy the diabetic, blind dog broke her leg.
Quincy, our 10 year old Doberman was diagnosed with diabetes a year ago. After working with our vets to get her glucose levels down with diet and insulin about 6 months into that she lost her vision....

Quincy spent a restful night and is drinking lots of water.
She refused to eat but thru trial and error Loretta discovered she will eat cottage cheese and canned chicken breast.
We have walked her outside several times now and she perks up and listens and smells. I take the load off the back legs with a towel wrapped around her and Loretta guides and steadies the front end with a harness. She is walking on
3 legs and the broken one is just hanging there.
She is doing what the Vets have said she would do and it is more than Loretta and I expected. Which is a very good thing.
Quincy is a very sweet dog and it truly breaks our hearts that we can't just touch her and make her better. So the next best thing is to do anything we can to help the heally process and to make her as comfortable as possible during the healing process.
