I can definitely empathize. Our Rottweiler, Harley has been having seizures for several years. In March they got really bad. One night he had seven of them and 14 of them over a three day period. He's already on the maximum dosage of all Phenobarbital and Potassium Bromide and we give him shots of valium when he has a seizure. He is now on a special diet of organic chicken and vegetables. We spend all weekend baking and mixing food and treats for the week.
So far it's working an he hasn't had any seizures. He has his own portable freezer full of chicken, bone broth, banana coconut cookies, and sweet potato treats.
I shudder to think of what we've spent in vet bills, meds, and food for him over the last couple of months.
I wish you the best of luck with Quincy.
