Tick and Flea Guard

We use Front Line and pills which I forget the name of. This is a bad season for ticks here in Oregon. We hike often with the dog off leash so she gets em even with all our precautions

I use Nextgard, a once-a-month chewable. Dog thinks it's a treat. It doesn't prevent ticks from attaching themselves (I don't think anything will) but they die quickly. I still check the dog regularly and pull off (dead) ticks.
