The chances of it reaching me would be slim. - raindoveExplorerI fed Nature's Recipe Chicken/Barley for many years. Dogs did well on it. When they came out with their grainfree chicken/sweet potato/pumpkin formula I had a hefty coupon and tried a bag. They all did very well on that, too. Went through a financial tight period and went back to a bag of the chicken/barley formula to save a few bucks. The one ****er spaniel had a chronic lip fold infection, and it had cleared up. I never made the connection until we went back to the barley formula and the lip fold got funky again. She's been on the grain free ever since with no problems. Our dogs on this lived good long lives, and had good bloodwork at really senior ages.

- RBakExplorerAndy eats Prescription Diet ID Lowfat, both dry and canned. He also gets 1 scrambled egg per day. Andy also takes 1 Denamarin pill 1 hour before he eats. And he gets a 10mg Pepcid AC with a small amount of dry food before bedtime - this has stopped the early morning vomiting. Yes, it's not always an easy routine to follow, especially when we travel, but he seems to be doing well on it. And he's worth the extra effort - he's one of the sweetest dogs I've ever had and I'm lucky to have him. As for Nicky my horse, she munches sweet grass in that big pasture behind her paddock. Thank goodness I don't have to worry about her!
Rita - xteacherExplorerMy boxer doesn't do well on the "premium" brands and doesn't keep weight on eating grain free like all of my other boxers did. He currently eats Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Stomach and Skin (not my choice, but he does okay on it...). He also does well on Holistic Select Anchovy and Sardine. He seems to do best on fish-based kibbles.
My little dog, Maddie, has numerous allergies, so she is limited in what she can tolerate. She is doing well eating the Acana Singles line, rotating through all three proteins, changing after each bag. - Deb_and_Ed_MExplorer IIUsually, my guys get Diamond Naturals Maintenance (they were getting a bit "fluffy" on the regular Lamb/rice I fed my previous dogs) but I seem to be able to give them Iams if I can't get the other. It was only recently, that I gave them Rachael Ray's "Nutrish". I wasn't keen on it having food coloring.... and then when Ben had some loose stools... I went back to the Diamond Naturals. Sorry Rachael - I'm not buying the hype.

Well, Calvin's poop out of luck, re. fast service. He takes two pills, one hour before he eats, so, no matter when I give him his pills. He's gotta wait an hour, before he see's his bowl in front of him.
