I have multiple Android and iPhone smartphones on Verizon, but have resisted upgrading my iPhone 4 to iOS 7 due to many complaints of sluggish behavior. Does anyone who has upgraded to iOS 7 on an iPhone 4 know if the issues have been resolved in the latest release? Haven't really had the time to following iOS developments. Not interested in upgrading to iPhone 5 as my service provider doesn't support 4G mobile data.

Dw has a 4 on ATT and it has been on 7 since a week after introduced with absolutely no problems ,I didn't even know there was a problem But since it's been fine I never looked

DW has a IPhone5 and I put 7 on hers and there has been no issues.

The iPhone 5 has a faster processor. Issues concern the iPhone 4.

I have been using ios7 on my iPhone 4 since the day it was released and have had no problems. Bruce

I have tried 3 times to install iOS 7 on my iPhone 4 and after installing for a while I get a message that an error has occured and it can't install but no info what the error is about.

Sometimes you have to do what is called a "DFU" install, after you do a backup, of course. (I back up to both a PC and iCloud just to be safe.) I do this when upgrading iOS versions, and the directions are easily available via usual search methods. This way, the entire OS on the iPhone is completely erased and reloaded, so any cruft left due to the OS upgrade is gone.

Seems to be some issues with wifi on some installs. Google is your friend.

I have an Iphone4s, I did the up grade a couple weeks after it was released, it works fine, but seems to maybe use up battery just a bit quicker. But no hang ups or speed issues IMHO.

We both have Iphone 4S/ We upgraded to 7 on the same day. My works fine, hers runs at half the speed now. No other problems, just takes longer to open APS etc. Search for phone numbers in contacts etc.

My 4 worked fine when I went to iOS7. Didn't notice any slowdowns.

I just bought an iPhone 5 so retired the 4.

I hate iOS 7. I wish I could use the functions of iOS 7 with the classic look of the earlier versions.

The white backgrounds give me eyestrain that wasn't present with the older iOS.

I forgot about the increased battery drain issue. But appears disabling iCloud synching reduces the problem. Found this article that basically outlines some concerns of upgrading to iOS7.

Went to it the day it was releases. No problems other than the aforementioned battery use, but by limiting iCloud sync battery use now about what it was before.
