Bedroom TV cable needs replaced.

I think mice chewed up the cable that runs to my bedroom TV. I heard some commotion in the belly part of my RV one night, then the bedroom TV turned to snow. I would like to replace it but i don't have a wiring diagram showing how it is routed. Anyone else ever been in this predicament and if so, any suggestions?
  • you can use butt connectors that screw right into the end of the old cable and in the end of the new cable then pull like mad to route the new cable
  • You could do this with out a diagram, with anew 25' cable sans one end, open up the panel where it comes into the room, and where it enters, the open that end. Try tugging real hard,,,but don't pull it out.
Tight tape the new onto the old after you cut the old connector off, and start pulling .. you may want to get some wire pulling goo from an electrician which helps the slid of the wire.

I doubt if it stapled any where in the unit.

    Good luck.
  • the tv cables usually run through the walls and ceiling not underneath but anything is possible depends on the rv and any modifications that may have been done. your unlikely to find a wiring a diagram for most rv's.
