Here is a suggestion regarding bookmarks
There is an extension for Firefox and Chrome and **I THINK** MSIE as well called X-marks.. With X-Marks and one computer all your bookmarks are stored "in the cloud" as they say now days (on X-marks server) and when you do a crash recovery you simply re-install the extension, log in and your bookmarks, TREE STRUCTURE and all magically appear (On so there is no magic)
Have 2,3,4 more computers you use.. Well X-marks will SYNC the bookmarks across the lot of them, sync between Chrome and Firefox (That I have tested) and more.
IT is a very handy program.
