depending on how hot the outside temps are an rv can heat up fast just like a car. 2 days ago in north carolina here where we live i went in our TT to get something it was parked in our drive. i have a temp and humidity sensor. the temp was 109 degrees
we have been using this system for a year. marcell cellular monitoring systems, it works off cell phone signal. it monitors power, temp,and humidity.
its not cheap and you pay a monthly subscription fee but it gives us piece of mind. we travel everywhere with 4 small dogs. we don't leave them alone that often but when we do i want to know fast if something goes wrong.
you set your high and low temp and humidity limits. if they go out of range or shore power goes out my wife and i both receive texts and automated phone calls on both our cell phones within seconds.
it does not need wifi, only at least a minimum cell phone signal. the built in rechargeable battery lasts for hours if shore power is off.
