I replaced my coleman with a coleman digital and was very easy. Just make sure color of wires match the trailer wires.

I'm shopping as well... for another project.

In my truck camper I used a narrow tall one to fit the limited space. Bought it at Home Depot.

Poking around on their website, I don't see one listed that has a remote function.

Looks like the Lux remote t-stat has been discontinued. It was the model TX9000RF

The Honeywell model I posted above, it's a progammable style. I love that feature when I'm camping in cool weather - the program will turn on the heat at a pre-set time just like my home heating.

Overkill, yes. Awesome, YES!!!

So... can a regular household tstat be used in an RV?
