I'm having a washer/dryer installed in about 4 weeks at Camping World. Is it common practice to be charged for shop rags (to protect the against damage), on top of the install charge?
It's pretty normal for shops to add a 'shop supplies' charge (per hour of labor) these days. Also disposal fees, environmental fees, technology fees, etc.
We charge a higher rate for newer vehicles that require the use of expensive, dedicated diagnostic equipment. (Rather than charging everyone the same rate whether their vehicle requires it or not).
