- IroverExplorerOpera is what I've been using on both my MS computer and my Macbook and use Duck-Duck-Go for the search engine! Works for me!
- Chris_BryantExplorer IIIt's not chrome, it's the participating websites, and any browser with an ad blocker. It remains to be seen whether enough will join the bandwagon, but it basically means for some websites, you will either have to turn off ad blocker or pay a subscription fee.
It really comes down to TANSTAAFL- someone has to pay. - darsben1Explorer

Please reread the article you posted. Then come up with a means to generate revenue for the companies that are out to make a profit. If you block ad's the publishers of websites for news, entertainment, etc get no revenue and then what. - NMDriverExplorerThis is the coming to a browser near you issue. All the advertisers have been ripped off for years by "pay per view" adds. They are so desperate to be seen that they pay web sites without any way to verify that the adds were even viewed. That is why you see adds from major corporations on terrorist web sites.
Chrome already says it does not support my operating system with updates. So I guess I will be in the tech stone age and miss their new version of Chrome.
My main sites are subscription entertainment sites so I doubt if I will miss much. - sch911ExplorerNone of this nonsense will be mandatory. So the title of the post is very misleading! Why is that, you don't like Google?
- Mortimer_BrewstExplorer IIIt looks they are out to crush 3rd party ad-blockers.
