As with any computer support question the first question should always be "what changed?" In your instance you mentioned a new logitech mouse 2 weeks old. Was anything else changed recently? Do you have the old mouse or can you borrow a mouse off another computer to swap in and see if the problem persists?
THAT is the trail I would be following --
I would do a system restore back to BEFORE you attached a new mouse.
If you loaded software with the mouse, or if Windows updated a driver when you attached it, that could be your problem. If THAT happened, even going back to an old mouse is most likely to have the same issue. If your 'swapped' mouse was the other new one that you got the same day it is almost guaranteed to act the same way.
