Your browser could be crashing because of an add on. In IE, click settings, then click Manage Add Ons. Under Show, select All Add Ons. Disable each add on in the list by clicking it, then clicking the disable button.
Now restart IE and see if you still have the problem. If the problem is gone, go back to the add on list and enable them one at a time, then restart. Soon you'll know which one is the problem. If it is something you do not use, leave it disabled. If it's something you want, you can reinstall it from wherever you got it.
