DING, DING, DING! We have a winner!
There is NOTHING you can do to "prevent" ugly finger tracks and or scratches in ANY TOUCH SCREEN.
I have dealt with MANY computer products over the years which used some sort of touch screen ranging from hand held "palm" type devices to 17" LCD touch screens where I work.
Would I intentionally buy a computer with a touch screen?
NO.
I have had to deal with repairing those pieces of junk, I would not wish them on anyone let alone torture myself at home.
Something those salespeople forget to tell you about is the finger tracks, scratches and oh yeah, touch screens GO BAD especially in high traffic areas... and to replace the touch screen portion WILL cost the same price as the ENTIRE device. Not to mention hard to get the touch screen parts too boot.
MOUSE it and forget about the touch screen.
