Dash Cam for Mexico & USA

Wish this feedback was on the other thread, may not have purchased. Oh well! Work arounds don't seem too bad. And I have two, maybe one to use and one for parts, lol!

Had the same 2 problems, I put the nut on the base unit on the other side, just tighten it down and the head of the bolt will press into the plastic and you can get the power plug in.

I found that if you press the mode button and hold it for about 3 seconds it will work then hit it fast to get to the other screen, scroll up or down with the keys on the right of screen.

There's an app for that. I was this free android app, have not tried it yet but looks good and free.

To rocmoc and others that bought this dash cam. I bought the very same one, it came in 7 days but has some serous problems.

The one that I got had a mis alignment of the port that the micro memory card goes into, letting the card slip into the camera. I had to open up the camera to get it back, so be very careful when installing the card. Which BTY it doesn't come with.

The other thing is that the suction cup that holds it to the windshield broke the very first time I tried to use it.

I E mailed the seller on these problems and they replied the same day with"please check carefully when insert into the card. we agree resend a new holder to you, ok ?"

this was 7 days ago and so far I haven't received anything yet but if I do I will update this.

# UPDATE # received new mount today 8 days from my last E Mail.

well it is a sainspeed f 198 car dash DVR with Night Vision on the amazon web site. don't know if it is junk or not but for $18 will see if I want to buy a better one or not.

P.S. I want to make it perfectly clear that I am NOT recommending this unit to anybody. it may be total junk but just wanted a cheap way to see if I should get a better one.
