Why would a Dell computer have a Seagate hard drive in it..I did not put it there..!!!

- Same reason it has either an Intel or Athlon CPU, some other brand of graphics card, & some other brand of DVD drive. Dell doesn't make all these components, no computer mfr does.

What is the brand of its refrigerator? The brand of its stove? Its toilet?
I'll wager that none of them match the RV brand. They're just components used by the manufacturer.
It's the same with computers. Seagate is a top-tier hard drive brand. Great quality. There's no reason for you to worry. - So who do you think put it there? Did you buy a nnnGB HD? Did you not get a nnnGB HD?
- It would have either a Seagate or Western Digital.
- Em, I don't think Dell makes hard-drives.
