Same here, I have 3 part time homes and 3 RV's, all set up with a garden variety Radio Shack splitter downstream of the receiver; to mirror the main living room TV in the Bedroom. one Sat, one LNB, one cable, one recvr. all SD of course, no need to complicate life with HD.
There is only one of me and I can only watch one show at a time, so this works fine for my needs. I use a remote IR extender when I need to change channels from the BR.

For years we ran 2 TVs off of one LNB with no issues. The only drawback was both TVs would have to have same show on. Install the splitter from the receivers "out to TV" cable and then to each TV. If you want individual programing on each TV, then you would need a dual LNB with 2 cables coming from the dish to 2 receivers,if you're looking for High Def than a special dish and LNB is required
