Direct tv, type sat. Dish and switch

Got a new genie system at my house and the tech changed my settings for the d-12 reciever i use in my 2006 travel supreme motor home, now I'm havig trouble getting it to lock onto the sat. Can anyone suggest what type switch and type dish to try, i thought it was a multiswitch and an 18 inch round dish. That combo doesn,t seem to work. Thanks.

    Unless you have a SWM system setup in your MH you will be out if luck. The Genie is SWM only.

    What it should be is obviously dependent on the antennas you have. I do know that switching the H24 I use in the coach back and forth between SWM and Multiswitch mode is often a problem as the receiver doesnt like to move sometimes. That seems to be a common problem, I've actually nuked an H24 while switching modes. If that's an original Traveler or straight 18" reflector looking at 101, then it should be multiswitch-18". Keep trying..
