EDIT---How do I make this a HOT LINK?
well, the mfg's website starts by referring to an "HDTV" antenna. seeing as there is no such thing calls into question everything else the mfg claims. - Dutch_12078Explorer IIIThat antenna is for receiving stations broadcasting on UHF channels only. It will not receive the several hundred stations broadcasting on VHF channels unless they're next door to you.
- Johno02ExplorerDepending on your mounting, it will probably be as good or better than a batwing. In either case, about 70 miles or so is generally max with UHF. With my late-model batwing, and the Winegard booster inside, I have no trouble with 60+ miles direct over flatland. Much past that, the signal just ain't there at all. I have an amplified flat window antenna at our S&B, about 50 miles is good.
- BobKrogstieExplorerUse the "Advanced Post Form", click the blue globe with a link on it, and follow the instructions thusly: This Is The Hot Link
