If you lose power to the DVR with the antenna stowed (stored) you will not be able to get to any of the programming on your DVR. You need to ensure that you have the antenna up and pointed and the DVR remains powered on before you store (store) your antenna. That means the DVR needs to remain on an inverter or shore power anytime the antenna is not pointed to the satellite.
