I use my h21 from home in the rv. I have a Slimline dish and SL3 lnb. I bought an extra power inserter so I would not have to keep swapping them out. The setup works just fine, sometimes a little difficult to locate the 101 satellite. Try to swap out one component at a time at home until you find the one that does not work.
