Dish for RV's

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm really just looking for the lowest cost movie solution for 4 winter months. I have cable back home and can't have a satellite there, because we live in a condo. So, Dish's pay as you go sounded like it might work for us during the winter months in Florida. I guess we have to get their $49.95 pay as you go package in order to get an addon like HBO.

Again, not true.

A Pathway X2, Tailgater, and domes can all get DISH HD, but you can't use any of them for Hopper/Joey systems.

There used to be 3 different kinds of Joeys -- Wired, Wireless, and Virtual. Only the Wireless Joey needs a WAP. The Wired Joey is networked to a Hopper using RG5 or RG59 coax. The Virtual Joey is no longer sold.

DISH is EOLing the wired Joey. The latest and what I got last week is the wifi Joey. I was not incorrect.

When I say not special, it is the same dish you use for any DISH HD; it isn't unique to a Joey setup.

sorry but you need to learn more about how the TV systems work. you need to have a package and then you add the movies.

if you are into movies than maybe you need to look at the internet systems like netflix and just get a basic satellite package.

A DISH HD dish with a two LNB Easter arc 1000. Dish which is smaller than my Directv Slimline dish. The Hopper has a sound feedback signal strength feature so it is easier to setup than the DTV system was.

DISH HD can be used with a Vucube unlike DTV.

The Joey is wireless and mirrors the Hopper with a dedicated WAP.

The Joey does not use a different dish than a non-Joey system.

I also assume they watch tv all year.

I'm not a Dome expert but I believe there are domes that support DISH HD. Again, Hopper/Joey does not require a special dish.

Now you have to have an antenna capable of using the Hopper/Joey service (no dome, no single LNB, no dual LNB). Having had the service for 1 week, what kind of antenna are you using to make this service work in your RV?
