Well to follow up, I contacted Winegard support and was told that the Winegard Road trip in motion model would not work with Dish Eastern Arc sat settings, only the stationary model will work with Eastern Arc settings. Since both units are identical except for the in motion capabilities this did not make sense.
Anyway, I changed the settings to the Eastern Arc and when the in motion unit is stationary it works flawlessly. The Winegard tech I was dealing with just never could grasp the concept that when sitting stationary the in motion and stationary units operate the same.
A add-on to my post. Today I moved the coach from my house to the storage lot where I keep it with the Road trip Mission set on the DISH Eastern Arc settings and on a program on the 72.7 sat. It tracked the 72.7 sat all during the 5 mile trip. The only time it cut out was when traveling along heavily treed sections of the roads.
While this isn't an extensive test it does indicate that the Road trip Mission in motion antenna should work with DISH Eastern Arc settings and track in motion.
