If you want good information on Epson vs Canon printers, I would go to www.dpreview.com and post in their printer forum. I've used both brands and they both have some excellent printers. The printing world has come a long way since your epson 2200. There will be a lot of hype over which brand is best. I would recommend ignoring most of it and find one that fits your budget and performance requirements. You won't go wrong either way. One thing you might want to consider is the size of the ink cartridges. Bigger cartridges usually give you more for your money.
