Most of those battery packs are AGM batteries in the 15-30 amp hour range, your 2 amp converter might be a bit fast for the smallest ones.. But the AGM lovers on this forum all like to brag about how they can be charged faster so I doubt it,, For the most common ones it is aroudn 10% c-20 and that is a very good re-charge rate for most rechargeable batteries.
Oh and if you know how.. Radio Shack sells replacement plugs.
