That is what I have.. Will these antennas and associated receivers be totally obsolete in 2019? Unfortunately, no one has a good answer to this. The Carryout is fully capable of receiving HD programming. What they Carryout type antenna does is receive whatever programming is coming from the DTV satellite at 101 in the sky. When DTV stops broadcasting SD it must be assumed that they will not stop using the 101 satellite but what will be broadcast? The dome style antennas are setup to receive KU band broadcasts only and if the 101 broadcasts something it will still be in KU and it will still be receivable with the domes.
