What sort of data plan are you on that does not allow you to use the phones built in Hot Spot forcing you to resort to FoxFi?
I didn't know it had a built-in hotspot. We are grandfathered unlimited data via Verizon and if we use their hotspot service it is $20 or $30 (although it is pro-rated). We only typically use this when camping.
