Wrace, my first thought when I read about the FF lockscreen here, was also that mine is rooted. But when I used FF on my S3 (not rooted), before I made the mistake of allowing that ATT update, it worked fine, and no lockscreen. Butm that was in 2013. The FF on my S4 was installed from the play store, back in April this year. Maybe there is an option to enable/disable that 'requirement'? Maybe some else will weigh in here.
