Scroll down this link to the EHD compatibility chart. Notice that the 211 series receivers equipped with an EHD are only compatible with other 211's and the new Wally receivers. With two Hoppers, you could move the EHD between them as we do. We have one Hopper installed in our upstate NY vacation cottage, and the other in our motorhome. When we're away from the cottage, we use the Dish Anywhere app to program the cottage Hopper to record programs we miss while underway for later watching. We also bring the EHD with us, loaded with any recordings from the cottage Hopper we haven't seen yet. When we get back to the cottage, we can watch any recordings on either Hopper on both Hoppers. The mobile Hopper does require a non-dome dish though, such as a free standing tripod mounted multi-LNB dish, or a roof mounted multi-LNB dish like the Winegard Trav'ler.
