This is true for all mapping software to a GPS route download. The start, waypoints, and end locations are transferred and then the GPS calculates its own route - sometimes in a way that you may not want. To make sure I get my GPS following the trip route I want, I put in more waypoints between the waypoints that are involved with my trip which will force the route in the GPS to go the way I want. And with the RVND - as has been said - it is going to calculate according to your RV spec so don't force changes without checking why it routed you that way first.
