FMCA deal gives you 25GB instead of 15GB before you get throttled. Bad part is you get throttled to something like 600K even if the tower is not busy. Direct from Verizon, you get throttled when the towers are busy so you might get high speed longer after you reach the cap by going direct to Verizon.
Now, if you already have a contract with Verizon for other things (we have 3 phones and a tablet) you can add a 7730L for just an additional $20 per month. If you negotiate properly with the agent, you can get them to waive the activation fee and sell you the 7730 for the same $.01 as the FMCA deal. That's why I have 2 of them. I get 30GB of 4G for $40 per month (yeah, we often use more than that) that might not get totally throttled if you are near lightly used towers.
EDIT: FMCA deal requires that you pay up front for 2 year membership. Already a member so did not matter to me.
