The WILSON SLEEK cradle is a passive connection to your cell phone when it is placed into the cradle. There is no physical wired connection to the cell phone. I use one here for my VERIZON MIFI WIFI HOT SPOT unit. Definitely works good for me...
The WILSON SLEEK will give interference if your outside antenna is too close to the cradle. If your vehicle roof is metal that should not be a problem for you.
